Nice piece, Orny. And yea, the presidential race really IS the ultimate reality show, isn't it? Say what you will about the alleged dignity of those seeking to be elected, and how everyone deserves respect and an equal voice and blah blah blah, but the coverage does make it seem like this country is just one big canoe race and an Ultimate Challenge away from choosing a winner.
"Marriage asteroid"--sure enough, everyone seems to be treating the Jolie/Pitt relationship just like that. Good observation there, too. And why the urgency with assigning Hollywood people to a marriage? Is there any sign whatsoever that those kinds of marriages last, or that these two are genuinely interested in changing the dynamic of their relationship in such a way? I think people expect failure and now they are feeling itchy because they're almost being denied it in this case. Hence the push for a legal union.
You did a great job, Orny. You look so sexy! Who would have thought that Barack Obama would have gutter balls? LOL!
