Shame of Using Coupons

Maybe I'm the only one a little self conscious about using coupons in stores... maybe not. Talking about coupons and rebates on this one.

Pretty good material, but a little outdated. Sorry, bro. Most rebates through big stores like Circuit City and Best Buy are done entirely online now.
Another point you might want to mention about 'coups is that you probably spent about $3 on the Sunday paper but used maybe $1 in coupons.
But a good commentary.

Well Chad'z you got a point-- but many rebates are still in done manually. But like I said, I wrote that hunk in 2004.

Nice work, and good job on the hair and hi-tech banner. I like the "half madman/half wannabe model" look. It works well for you. Round up some taggers and you can go really hardcore on that back wall. Of course, your car and stereo will be missing, the next day; but, for the online visual impact, it will be, oh, so worth it!

haha...never used coupons, for precisely the same reason (too self-conscious about it). i love your elaborate neurotic reasoning through out the whole coupon-using process..

I like when the grocery stores double coupons. One near me doubles up (and including) 60 cents. Not that I'm a big coupon user. Sometimes I clip with good intentions but I'm kinda absent minded and forget what I have, and then at the store it's too much to figure out what I'm buying and is it cheaper with a coupon, or is it cheaper to just get the store brand. Sometimes I just say to heck with it and leave coupons on the shelves for other people to use. (Wonder if anyone ever takes them?) I do the same thing with gift cards that I get. I spent something like $100 in Target not long ago (and I'm like omg, how'd I spend a hundred bucks? I didn't even get that much stuff!), and then on the way home it hit me that I had a $25 Target gift card in my purse that I could've used. (I've used it since then.) I'm really awful when it comes to rebates. I can never get all the right stuff together ... until, inevitably, I'll happen to find the missing rebate thingy that I've needed on THE very day AFTER the rebate expires. It's enough to make a preacher cuss. But that's the story of my life, not that I'm looking for pity or anything.

PS crap ... I didn't mean i leave gift cards on the shelves for people to find and use ... that would just be stupid. It'd be good if my brain and my typing worked together...

HEY!!! I take offense based on the fact that when I was going through college I worked as a data entry clerk in a rebate enter...8 hours a day of entering info.
